Donation campaign field cutlery for homeless
A person’s life is full of challenges. Often we are faced with challenges that we can hardly master on our own at the first moment. What is positive for one of us can be a disadvantage for the other.
In July 2021, a plastic ban came into force in Germany, which will also include cutlery made of plastic. For our environment this is a great gain, the plastic waste flood will be reduced. For all the needy people in our society who depend on support from aid organizations, an enormous challenge arises.
How are these people supposed to get food and nutrition, which is provided by the Tee- und Wärmestube Neukölln, for example? Normally, these meals are distributed by adding plastic cutlery. Due to the urgent need to ban plastic, the supply is at risk.
In order to be able to help the poorest in society with this challenge, we have decided to launch the Field Cutlery Campaign in consultation with Thomas de Vachroi, the Poverty Commissioner of the Protestant Church District. Let’s help people without shelter together and give them plastic-free outdoor cutlery. With your help, we can provide people with the stainless steel cutlery so that the poorest in society can continue to take advantage of the services offered by aid organizations.
Even with 10 € we can equip two people with the cutlery.
Together we can achieve more – “We Are One”.
Donate now to support these people.
